The K-Swiss K-Ruuz 1.5 is a very popular racing shoe for short distance triathletes that weighs only 185 grams (85 USA).
Despite having 10 mm of drop its cushioning is very soft and the sensation is almost like running with a minimalist shoe. In the metatarsal part in contact with the ground it is very evident, so it will appeal to runners looking to adapt to this type of minimalist sensations.
However, it is a very stable shoe with enough control to be used by neutral runners as well as light weight pronators up to 65 km.
Its upper is water resistant (although not 100% waterproof) and can be used without socks.
