The La Sportiva Uragano GTX shoes is the latest bet of this Italian firm for the 2019 season. It is a shoe designed specifically for trail running, a silhouette full of comfort and stability that also comes with a spectacular design with a mid-top style and modern appearance due to its bold colors.

Upper features

For the upper of these La Sportiva shoes we have used an upper that protects the foot in all areas, using a water-repellent fabric that prevents water from entering the interior through the Goretex membrane. Another characteristic feature of this silhouette is the incorporation of a gaiter called Sock Shield Gaiter that wraps around the foot protecting it from any possible entry of stones, debris or snow. The Uragano GTX has also added a quick lacing system that allows you to easily adjust your shoes, in addition to achieving a great distribution of internal tension. To achieve greater flexibility for this silhouette has been added a Flex fabric with which you will feel a great comfort, adjusting the shoe in a similar way to a sock.

Midsole and outsole

In the lower area of the shoes La Sportiva Uragano GTX has opted for a midsole of great thickness composed of MEMLEX EVA technology, responsible for providing a first class cushioning throughout the tour. A TPU stabilizer has been added to this midsole, in a novel way, since it is embedded in the EVA itself. The toe of the shoe has a double reinforcement to face the contact with the surface, thus protecting the front area in a very effective way against possible collisions with rocks or hard materials. For the outsole, a durable rubber outsole has been chosen using the Frixion AT lug pattern, which can be used compatibly with AT Grip Spikes.
