La Sportiva VK in detail

To tackle a vertical course, it is very important to wear shoes capable of providing the utmost safety. You need lightness, precision and full grip at every step, so this is a very technical and resistant shoe that guarantees protection, lightness and grip.

The weight and volume of this shoe has been reduced to a minimum, but the performance is still excellent. The upper structure of this shoe is composed of a fabric that wraps around 360º and ends with a lace closure on the sides. It is a seamless piece, which gives the sensation of running with a sock. This level of comfort is also enhanced by the stretch fabric and stabilizing thermo-adhesive panels.

The sole of the La Sportiva VK is made of a lightweight material, reinforced with rubber in the forefoot and toe cap for maximum foot protection. The EVA midsole complements that lightness with extra cushioning, and manages to optimize the thrust needed on vertical terrain.

The total weight of this trail running shoe is 190 gr with a 4mm drop. This is a very light shoe for trail running, very specific, and of course it is not a shoe that we will see very often, as it is a specialty not as well known as conventional trail running.

It is also a fast shoe , ideal for short distances that provide precision and good grip. They will go on sale this 2018, and are designed to be durable and resistant to the most complicated terrain.
