Merrell Agility Peak Flex 3

The Merrell Agility Peak Flex 3 shoes dedicated exclusively to trail running enthusiasts arrive in the 2019 season in their second third version, a silhouette that has evolved rapidly in the catalog of this American brand. We have seen them with GTX, with important mesh in its upper, good soles and grip... But the change in this latest version has been brutal. Upper features

To begin with, you should know that the upper of this shoe is made of a single piece of Jacquard fabric, formed by a high quality mesh that favors flexibility at all points of this trail running shoe. In the rear area the Hyperlock TM system has been chosen, in which there is a small TPU panel that guarantees greater security and stability for your feet. In this versatile and dynamic model also highlights a reinforcement located along the entire length of the shoe composed of a resistant rubber, which can perform a very important function on the difficult terrain of the mountain, such as the protection of the foot in contact with the surface. Finally, the upper features an innovative adjustment system, which has as eyelets a resistant cable that allows you to customize the fit of your laces to the maximum, and in a personalized way.

Midsole and outsole

In the midsole of these Merrell shoes we highlight a wide compression-molded EVA midsole, which together with the FLEXconnect TM technology will provide important benefits for our feet such as: excellent cushioning, extra flexibility and great comfort. On the other hand, and less visibly, the TrailProtect TM system has also been used, consisting of a very hard plate that will protect our feet from possible impacts with rocks or debris that we will find on the ground.

On the outside, has been incorporated for the first time in these Merrell Agility Peak Flex 3 the well-known Vibram Megagrip outsole, with it we will give a great leap in quality and traction, grip and durability over previous versions.
