What are the expectations for the new Merrell SpeedARC Surge BOA?

The upper features Matryx technology that stands out for providing a great combination of abrasion resistance and lightness that we can already see in other outstanding models of the brand as the Merrell MTL Long Sky 2 Matryx.
This new model features the award-winning double BOA lacing system to provide maximum precision and adapted to the needs of each runner.
The new Merrell SpeedARC Surge BOA features the new FloatPro+ foam developed by the brand in the midsole. It is a foam that has nitrogen injected to provide better cushioning and reactivity.
A flexible nylon plate is sandwiched between the two layers of dual density foam to provide a cushioned and responsive experience underfoot.
It's a combination of our flexible plate, a nylon-based plate material, and a new supercritical foam that creates a completely new, cushioned propulsion that we're really excited about. Ian Cobb, Merrell senior design director.
This foam and nylon plate combination system is called SpeedARC and gives this new model its name. Tests conducted in Merrell s lab in conjunction with its external lab partner Heelux demonstrate the superiority of this system that helps us reduce energy loss in each of our strides.
