New Balance 1080v5

The New Balance 1080V5 arrives with slight changes mainly in its design. But as usual in the brand they are spectacular, so much so that it is worth using them for running.

The New Balance 1080V4 were one of the best Running shoes of 2014 and the V5 have been surpassed.

What we liked the most is undoubtedly the combination between its lightness (slightly more than the 2014 model but only 300 grams in a size 95 USA) and its excellent cushioning, worthy of a top of the range shoe.

In the upper the seams almost disappear with a new design that also fits better to the foot. And now it is also more breathable. There have been changes in the lacing and laces, one of the weak points of the 2014 model.

Its drop is slightly lowered. It now moves to the American brand trend of 8 mm. With 30 mm in the heel and 22 mm in the toe area.

The typical runner would be a runner of medium or medium-high weight looking for a shoe for training and long runs at medium paces. But they can also be used to compete in half marathons and marathons.
