The fifth version of the New Balance 610 continues to maintain that line of model indicated for initiation in trail running, but that allow you to take that step forward, and move up to the next level. The New Balance 610 v5 are designed to face any type of terrain, thanks to the combination of its technologies.
In terms of cushioning, the exclusive Abzorb system of the North American firm, added to the TechRide technology, adds more cushioning sensation and comfort in each stride. Incorporated in the outsole, another technology to highlight is the AT Tread, which gives the shoe greater support and stability in each workout, improving aspects as important as control and traction. The traction is reinforced with different types of studding. These are arranged in the front and rear of the shoe in reverse direction, separated by the different treads, whose function is stabilizing, while segmenting the sole in different areas.
The upper of the New Balance 610 v5 includes a synthetic mesh, which allows for good ventilation and contributes to a more flexible fit. It also incorporates reinforcements in the most exposed and high-wear areas to extend the life of the shoe.
Although this fifth version of the New Balance MT 610 maintains the 12-millimeter drop, one of the big differences with respect to its predecessor, the 610 v4, lies in its weight. In the 610 v5, the weight has been considerably reduced to 298 grams, increasing the feeling of lightness.
All in all, the New Balance 610 v5 is an ideal option for neutral footed mountain runners, who do not exceed 80 kilos, and who want to add kilometers with certain ease, at the same time that they enjoy optimal cushioning, lightness and grip.
