New Balance 870v3

The third generation of the New Balance 870 has arrived. A shoe that has gone unnoticed for many but competes in a segment in which it has earned a place. Mixed shoe for training and competition that stands out for its lightness, flexibility and stability for runners with mild pronation and good running technique. Especially for its 8 mm drop that will require a correct running technique so that your joints do not suffer too much.

What has changed the most compared to its predecessor the New Balance 870 v2 is the outsole. Its design is composed of 4 flexion lines in the forefoot area that make it very flexible and reactive. The separation between these lines is made up of a series of worm-shaped rubber pieces that provide excellent grip and facilitate take-off.

The upper has no seams and is made of a synthetic material with a very good feel and excellent quality for not being considered a top of the range shoe, but of medium-high range. However, its performance makes it an excellent shoe.

Padded and comfortable tongue but can move a little something that should be corrected in the next version especially at high speeds in which the fit should be perfect.

Good fit with room for toes.

Its cushioning is firm but generous despite being a mixed and its stability and support is forceful so that the foot does not lose its sense in each stride.

The midsole is made of dual density RevLite, the firmest in the midfoot area for extra support under the arch to avoid unwanted twisting.
