The trail territory is in fashion, and New Balance knows it all too well. The new New Balance Fresh Foam Arishi Trail arrives to the market to continue increasing the catalog of its all-terrain sneakers. As with the well-known Fresh Foam Hierro V5, this new range of the North American company is a clear commitment to the most intrepid trail running, until now largely monopolized by Salomon.
This is yet another example of New Balance 's ability to apply the latest technology to the world of mountain running, a discipline that has grown exponentially in recent years. These Fresh Foam Arishi Trail stand as one of the leadingshoes in terms of lightness within the catalog of trail runningshoes from New Balance.
The new New Balance Fresh Foam Arishi Trail is a remodeling of the Fresh Foam Arishi training shoes, a trend that the Boston-based company has become accustomed to lately. In this new model, New Balance seeks to apply to the aesthetics and technological efficiency of the Arishi range, the necessary features for technical terrain.
Starting with the sockliner, we can say that the new Arishi Trail is equipped with New Balance Balance's dual AT Tread design, which favors a versatile tread for maximum traction on both trail and road. The EVA foam promotes full-foot comfort and a smoother ride on even the roughest trails.
The outsole, without the Vibram technology of high-end soles such as the Hierro V5 or Hierro Boa, is equipped with lugs that ensure grip on all types of terrain, from the wettest to the most arid.
On the other hand, the upper maintains the design and look of the New Balance Fresh Foam Arishi, and complements it with the splashes already common to other New Balance Balance trail shoes. The mesh that makes up the upper is a no-sew fabric, meaning it's seamless, a feature that makes the Arishi Trail an excellent lightweight, lace-up sneaker. In addition, the forefoot features the Toe Protect system to secure and protect the toe area against rocks and gravel.
The new Fresh Foam Arishi Trail from New Balance is a trailshoes perfect for mountain runners looking for lightness and safety in equal parts. With 256g of weight they are one of the lightest trail shoes of the American brand, dropping more than 100g the weight of its flagship, the Hierro V5. On the other hand, its 8mmdrop favors a dynamic tread on all types of terrain and is sure to delight the most demanding mountain runners.
