The award-winning Fresh Foam Zante saga reaches its third version with an update without major surprises, but the changes, although few, are important. It is a new update that focuses on nuances such as the redesign of the upper, but maintaining the main lines of the Fresh Foam Zante v2. That is, Fresh Foam midsole, with small modifications in its geometric pattern, which seeks to ensure optimal cushioning in each stride; and elegant design, in the form of a bootie, which offers a perfect fit.
The idea of responsiveness, speed and versatility, given that the Zante is designed for long runs as well as shorter and faster races, does not disappear in the New Balance Zante v3.
The most important new feature of the Fresh Foam Zante v3 is the new one-piece Engineered Mesh mesh. This new redesign has its basis in a tighter midfoot wrap, while the forefoot upper has a perforated mesh with larger holes. While the fit of the Zante v3 may be similar to that of its predecessor, its durability is increased.
The third installment of the Zante also brings with it minor tweaks to both the outsole and insole. The injected carbon rubber not only provides increased wear resistance, but also improves the traction of the shoe. Note that all the lateral and convex hexagons contribute to a faster transition and increased stability.
Same drop, set at 6 millimeters, and, practically the same weight - gram above - as the Zante v2, so that lovers of this New Balance saga will continue to enjoy a running shoe model that is soft, light, fast and always ready to add kilometer after kilometer.
