The launch of the New Balance Hanzo is part of the competition line for asphalt, and although they do not come to replace the ultra-fast and ultra-light RC 1600, this model is designed to provide not only the best response but also the best performance in the race. That is why the American firm has chosen to combine some of New Balance's most cutting-edge materials in a somewhat more conventional design.

Designed in conjunction with the elite runners of the NB Team, the New Balance Hanzo incorporates a mixed midsole, which combines RevLite foam with Rapid Rebound material, which as its name suggests, provides a fast rebound, maximum reactivity. An aspect that makes it an interesting alternative for short distance races, from 5 to half marathon.

Ideal and secure fit with maximum firmness and traction

Another of the great novelties of this competition model from New Balance is the fusion of the mesh upper, in which a heat process has been used to melt the thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filaments, resulting in a lighter structure, and which is able to ensure a snug and secure fit. Also present is the characteristic synthetic mesh with Fantom Fit technology.

On the other hand, the New Balance Hanzo features an outsole dominated by the exclusive Dyna-Ride system. Consisting of a plastic plate, attached to the midsole, and incorporating a network of lugs, arranged in pairs, and strategically positioned in the areas of greatest wear of the shoe. The end result is maximum grip, firmness and traction.

The technical specifications of the New Balance Hanzo refer to heel heights of 17 mm, 13 mm in the forefoot, and a low profiledrop of 4 millimeters. Weight is around 185 grams in the men's version for size 42EU, while the women's version is 155 grams for size 36EU.
