Nike Air Zoom Structure 20

History is written with lines of evolution, and Nike Running has this premise very present because one of its most emblematic sagas, the Structure, reaches its 20th version, and this anniversary is celebrated in style with a new update of this stability model that returns to its origins, but, of course, adapting to the times.

It was 1991 when the Structure franchise saw the light of day, laying the foundations of the concept of this stability concept, which has been passing from version to version for two decades. At that time, the North American brand set itself the mission of providing an answer to a problem such as pronation. The solution was none other than the Nike Air Structure, the most stable shoe of the American brand.

The great leap in quality in the Structure family came with the Nike Air Structure Triax 9-model of 2006-, since the anatomical section of the shoe improved notably with an innovative cushioning system -beveled cushioning- and new geometry. Both elements were designed for smoother transitions and increased stability. In addition, another new component was the tri-zone outsole, and a better distributed heel to minimize the effects of pronation.

The 2009 Triax 13 model was another considerable improvement with a more secure upper and additional support with the heel liner to provide the runner with a stable, light and smooth stride.

Moving to more current times, in 2013, the Structure saga experienced another new revolution with the introduction of the Dynamic Support system in the Nike Zoom 16 version, thanks to which this pronator shoe replaced that somewhat heavy and robust support in the medial lateral support with a more simplified and dynamic system, which resulted in smoother transitions and a higher degree of stability.
