Nike Air Zoom Vomero 16

Introducing the Nike Vomero 16, the latest update of the American brand's most cushioned and reactive model. This best-selling trainer for runners over 75 kilogramss for easy paces and all kinds of distances has arrived without making much noise.

These running shoes arrive with few changes, after the radical change that the model underwent with the Nike Vomero 15. This time the 16th edition of these Vomero introduces small nuances that come to improve those details that didn't leave the Vomero community completely satisfied.

Nike Vomero 16: New features and reviews

The midsole of the Vomero 16 remains unchanged. It keeps the Nike Zoom X foam, the lightest and most reactive material of the brand, which offers a great softness in each step without sacrificing responsiveness in runs. We can also find an Air Zoom unit in the forefoot, which helps with reactivity in the toe-off.

Changes with respect to the Nike Vomero 15

We can find a full outsole made of abrasion-resistant rubber and multi-cut that offers good grip. It has lugs and high-resistance rubber in the heel to offer traction and durability.

The tongue has also been redesigned, constructed in new materials offering more padding and cushioning where the laces go unnoticed even if you like to wear your trainers very tight.

The whole area around the ankle also has new features and improvements, for the sake of a better fit, protection and safety for the runner.

We find a plasticised piece in clip format that wraps the heel to provide better support and adjustment of the foot.

Now the toe box is also more padded to wrap and protect the ankle area.

And an element to highlight are the reflective elements in different parts of the trainer that make it very visible in direct light.
