The Nike Lunar TR1 is a different concept of shoe. It is not exactly a running model but it is suitable for running. It's not a 100% fitness model but it's for training. It is an all-rounder. Nike calls it cross-training. We can use it for running outings, for going to the gym, for jumping, for moving fast, for training changes of pace or changes of direction...
On the one hand, the height of the shoe has been raised, differentiating it from the Nike Free models. They are also lighter than previous versions (266 gr in a size 10 USA).

Getting an athlete to train closer to the ground by improving stability for example when lifting weights, increases traction and provides greater efficiency in quick changes of direction.
