One of the main features in the upper of the Puma Ignite 3 PWRcool is the collar with DRI-FREEZE technology, which allows us to maintain a comfortable temperature from the moment we put on the shoe until the last minute we wear it. This material also extends inward to cover the insole, so your feet will be in a cool environment throughout your run.
This is complemented by the use of the PWRcool system, a material that covers the entire upper of the shoe and ensures maximum ventilation. This material reacts to moisture and sweat to regulate the temperature of the shoe, keeping the inside of the shoe cool and dry, especially on hot days.
The seamless upper keeps feet comfortable and avoids irritation points. To provide better structure and protection, some thermo-sealing is used in the midfoot area, and as reinforcement to the lacing system. In the heel area, a TPU reinforcement offers a more secure fit, which also contributes to the shoe gaining more stability.
The midsole uses Pumas exclusive IGNITE rubber, which covers the entire structure of the shoe. This rubber in the Puma Ignite 3 PWRcool is a highly responsive compound that ensures optimal cushioning and a more efficient ride. The material has a soft nature, but also offers excellent rebound to give extra energy during the toe-off phase.
On the other hand, the midsole of the Ignite 3 PWRcool by Puma also brings with it a network of flex grooves, which contract when there is pressure at this point of the shoe, and then recover their normal state. A detail that increases the flexibility of the midsole, while making it softer and lighter. The result: an even smoother ride.
In the heel area we find a ForEverFoam reinforcement that helps minimize the impact on the surface; and thanks to the fact that the material maintains its structure, it is able to offer greater durability to the shoes.
The outsoles of the Puma Ignite 3 PWRcool use a high-performance rubber exclusive to Puma, EverTrack+, which has the mission of offering a successful combination of performance in abrasion resistance, durability, traction and flexibility.
The pattern is specially designed for asphalt and offers multi-directional grip. A more resistant rubber has been placed in strategic points to make them more resistant.
