The firm Saucony has just presented its new range of shoes under the name ISO SERIES, completing the trio Zealot, Triumph, with the Hurricane model, whose weight of 315 grams and its drop 8 millimeters is quite similar to its predecessor version Saucony Hurricane 16, with only two grams more weight.

Although it shares some of the technical characteristics of the Triumph model, it enjoys greater stability during the race. The Saucony Hurricane ISO is a shoe for pronator runners weighing up to 90 kilos, focused on training at intermediate paces and with very good cushioning.

Upper

One of the most significant improvements that have been carried out in this new version of the Hurricane ISO model has taken place in the upper, where the old Sauc-Fit system has been replaced by the revolutionary ISOFIT adjustment in the upper, to offer a feeling of total adaptability, achieving a perfect harmony with the foot.

Midsole

 Saucony Hurricane ISO shoe

The midsole of the Hurricane ISO closely resembles the Triumph model, but includes a stability control piece. In this part of the shoe Saucony s PowerGrid system has given way to PWRGRID+ which runs through the entire midsole for 20% more cushioning, without losing flexibility. Saucony s goal is to achieve a lighter feel without losing structural integrity.

Outsole

The outsole is also quite similar to the one used in the Triumph ISO shoe, as it uses a combination of XT-900 and IBR+ compounds to make it more resistant to asphalt abrasion and enhance grip on any type of surface. One of the main differences with respect to the Triumph is an additional reinforcement in the internal area to extend the lifespan and a groove that divide the heel in two, to give rise to apronation corrective zone and, on the other hand, the lugs that contribute to a smooth transition in each stride.
