After the return to the origins of the previous versions, the Saucony Kinvara 10 maintains that line of being a regular daily training model. However, it can be said that the Pennsylvania brand has created possibly the best Kinvara to date.
Among the most significant changes in this Kinvara 10 is that it has resorted to more updated materials to compose a Running shoes with a more modern platform, which provides lightness and flexibility, coupled with superior cushioning.
Speaking of the very well optimized cushioning system, these Kinvara 10 features a combination of high quality materials such as EVA+ foams, midsole, and EVERUN, outsole. While the EVA+ material makes the model lightweight, dynamic and durable, the EVERUN layer promotes softer and more comfortable landings, while also providing remarkable energy return with every stride, maintaining continuous cushioning throughout the run.
In order to extend the life of the model, especially in those areas most exposed to wear, these Kinvara 10 incorporate two pieces of high abrasion rubber, which are located both in the toe and lateral heel.
The upper of the Saucony Kinvara 10 features an engineered mesh (Engineered Mesh), whose construction reduces overlays to a minimum, lightening its structure. This is how Sauconys FlexFilm technology is applied, whose mission is to increase flexibility.
As with the Saucony Ride ISO, this tenth version of the Kinvara also uses FormFit technology, using 3D printing, which allows the model to be adjusted and adapted to the runner's specific footprint. In addition, and in order to increase comfort, both the tongue and the ankle collar are well padded, and contribute to give more elasticity.
Saucony Kinvara 10, technical specifications
For its part, the outsole is made of a high resistance rubber compound, but here the flex grooves on the sides are especially relevant, as well as other deeper ones in the central area, and whose purpose is focused on providing flexibility and more freedom of movement, and without losing performance in the stability of the platform itself.
The Saucony Kinvara 10 does not go unnoticed the aesthetic change that has occurred with respect to the Saucony Kinvara 9. Something that can be seen and noticed, especially in the front part of the model, in its toe cap.
Regarding the technical specifications, the Saucony Kinvara 10 maintains its low drop of 4 millimeters (23mm in the heel and 19mm in the forefoot), and also has similar weights with about 221 grams.
