Saucony Ride 7

One of the best mixed running shoes in the market is here. The Saucony Ride 7. A new update that changes a lot if we compare it with the change from the Ride 5 to the Ride 6(Compare here the Ride 6 with the Ride 7).

For starters, its cushioning is now softer, more comfortable and cushioned thanks to its revamped PowerGrid technology. The outsole has been redesigned with new foot landing zones that together with a very good fit and increased flexibility allow for cushioned movements that adapt to each step.

In fact the cushioning of these Saucony RIde 7 interact efficiently with the dynamic motion of each stride.

Technologies

• SRC: SRC technology has been redesigned in the heel area creating a more cushioned landing zone.

• IBR+ has also been improved and enlarged rubber pieces spread throughout the outsole to improve durability. IBR+ now extends throughout the sole to create a smoother transition from heel to forefoot.
• Transitions are now smoother. Deep, flexible midsole grooves have been incorporated into the midsole and aid in foot strike transition and final toe-off.

• Lighter open mesh upper, more breathable to keep feet cool and comfortable.
• The 8mm drop is maintained, but the fit and comfort of the shoe is improved.
• Stability. The plastic piece in the midfoot that provided stability has been replaced by a cushioned rubber capsule, making the shoe just as stable but more flexible and lighter.

Last changes

We will also find changes in the last. Now the front part of the shoe is wider, which provides more stability, but its upper, as we said, fits better than the Ride 6. The seams have been eliminated (although not all) in that front part.

Saucony Ride 7 is a mixed shoe for neutral runners with enough cushioning to be valid for medium weights (up to 80 kg) and fast paces under 4:30 m/km. For all distances including marathon.
