Saucony Ride 8

We present a new update, in this case the Saucony Ride 8. The American brand, which has been around for 116 years, brings us a mixed running shoe ideal for training and competition. Both the men's and women's versions are aimed at runners of medium to low weight for paces under 5 minutes per kilometer.

New features of the Saucony Ride 8

Among the new features of this Saucony Ride 8 is its upper that incorporates the already known Flexfilm technology, but it is renewed. They achieve a better fit to the foot with what also less mobility of the toes without providing a gram of extra weight.

For its manufacture a new mesh design has been used that provides greater breathability to keep the foot ventilated and with a very light overall weight, which makes it a very interesting option for long runs at fast paces. The upper continues to use RunDry technology for quick drying in case of excessive sweating or splashing in puddles or drizzle.

Soft cushioning

The midsole of the Saucony Ride 8 has enough cushioning to be a model aimed at runners up to 75 kg. The underfoot feel is of soft cushioning but it responds effectively at toe-off. The brand continues to bet on its PowerGrid technology.

It is a model for runners with a neutral stride but who need extra stability over the kilometers. That is why it is so popular for distances such as half marathons or even marathons.

It has an 8 mm drop, so the landing is shifted to the midfoot area.

Reflective elements

The safety of the runner has been taken into account and the new edition comes with reflective details on the back to improve visibility.
