In the purest "Need for Speed" style, Scott launches the Scott Pursuit. The Swiss brand, mainly focused on cycling, winter sports and motorcycles, has been making great contributions to the running world for some time now, which we at RUNNEA love.
This running shoe for neutral runners can be a great ally for our training in medium distances or even for competition. That's right, Scott has designed a mixed model which has some of the best technologies of the firm.
Attentive runner, here we explain everything you need to know about the Scott Pursuit!
Scott, with this release, seeks to get the best out of its runners by creating a dynamic, lightweight and fast shoe. To do so, it applies different technologies in this silhouette.
The midsole uses Kinetic Light Foam, the lightest and most sensitive of the brand, which provides even more rebound than other midsole prepared for it. Thanks to this, more energy is recovered so that you can run faster for longer. Despite what you might think at first glance, the durability of the model is never sacrificed. In addition, its rocker shape (Evolved Rocker 2 ) gives us the greatest efficiency when running with that notorious curve with respect to the horizontal ground.
The upper technical mesh, as it could not be less in this model, is superlight. In this area of the upper we find thermoplastic polyurethanes that will give us greater support to the foot. The tongue, with its technical design, offers comfort, fit and support, characteristics that it shares with the mesh of the silhouette.
The rubber outsole, featuring Scotts Speed Traction technology, is specifically designed to save weight. Unlike the Scott Speed Carbon RC, this model does not have a carbon plate. Even so, this outsole is strategically placed to put power to the road in the most direct and efficient way, focusing on forefoot traction so as not to lose power.
The drop of this new model is standard (8 mm), which is ideal for runners who heel stride. In addition, they will benefit from the shape of the ER2 midsole, which reduces heel impact.
As we have seen from its characteristics, Scott has prioritized lightness in this silhouette, creating a final product of 250 grams.
This asphalt running shoe is ideal for neutral runners looking for a mixed shoe, both for training and competition. Lightweight and efficiency are the main features of these Scott Pursuit, which as its name suggests , we can chase anyone!
