The Scott T2 Palani is a lightweight, high-performance shoe for runners with a neutral stride. It is a model designed for racing and training at high intensity and speed. An ideal shoe for short distance races and even marathons. It incorporates all the essential components of a lightweight, winning running shoe.
At 230 grams in the men's version and 210 grams in the women's version, this T2 Palani model is designed for runners with a medium to light build. This rather minimalist-looking shoe provides remarkable cushioning and optimal responsiveness, thanks to its 11 mm drop.
As an alternative to the EVA foam used in most trail running shoes, Scott has opted for another technology called Aero Foam, which combines lightweight materials with a wear-resistant compound. The result is a lighter, more cushioned and more durable shoe than traditional models.
The second version of this shoe incorporates a drainage system with three channels to keep your feet perfectly ventilated and free of moisture. One of the strengths of the Scott T2 Palani is its stability which is achieved with a fiberglass plate implemented in the midsole and, through the eRide system, allows for a light-footed feel. The unique shape of the balance point creates a very stable and more efficient midfoot support for running.
The eRide Flow technology allows the sole materials to mold to guide the stride in the most efficient way for optimal support and cushioning.
