The Skechers GOmeb Speed 4 are the flying shoes of the american brand. An ideal shoe for series, quality training and competitions in which we will run under 4:30m/km.
The Skechers GOmeb Speed 4 are the shoes used by Meb Keflezighi ( Skechers athlete who won the Boston Marathon). They stand out for their weight of only 195 grams in a 9 USA and their reactive flexibility.
The drop of the shoe is still 4mm, which together with the lightness of the shoe and its very reactive midsole limit them to runners of medium or low weight, with good running technique and are already accustomed to running with shoes that encourage a more natural stride due to their low drop.
The main change is found in the upper. Skechers bets for its GO KNIT technology that we have already seen in other models such as the Skechers GoRun 5 A fabric that allows a better fit of the foot without seams, but at the same time allows mobility to the toes and, above all, provides breathability.
The design also changes, now it is a more "wearable" shoe, even prettier I would say. The midsole continues to use Resalyte 5th Gen. It is a Resalyte compound of EVA and rubber that interact to find comfort, durability and firmness, which translates into greater reactivity.
In the outsole we also see new features, a layer of rubberhas been incorporated in the form of a spider web. That is, it does not cover the entire sole, but certain parts in the search for a mix between removing weight to the shoe without harming too much traction and grip of the same.
