The Topo Athletic Specter 2 is a running shoe that comes with some interesting updates compared to the previous model to adapt to a wider profile of runners.

Topo Athletic continues its strong commitment to its catof running shoes by updating and improving its most outstanding shoes, as is the case with this new model.

It is a shoe that maintains the essence of the Topo Athletic Specter offering great cushioning and profiles but without ceasing to be a fast and reactive shoe and in which interesting improvements have been introduced.

The upper has a more resistant mesh than the previous version and helps us to improve the fit of the foot inside the shoe when running with them. It is worth highlighting the brand's commitment to recycled materials in this second version, which help to make the shoe lighter and more breathable.

The midsole has a Pebax foam (Full Pebax Powered) that provides greater cushioning and a high energy return to run more comfortably in training or long distance races.

The outsole has a compound in which the thickness of the rubber has been increased, which gives us greater durability, ideal for our daily running workouts.

Ideal profile of the Topo Athletic Specter 2

The new version continues to be designed for medium and heavy runners (over 75 kilos) with a neutral stride who need an agile and comfortable shoe for their daily running workouts, although it can also be used in competitions thanks to its versatility.

As for the paces at which we can run, they stand out for adapting to a wide range of paces, from the fastest to slower or recovery paces. In terms of distances, the Topo Athletic Specter 2 is a perfect choice for events from 10 kilometers to the marathon if we have a good running technique...

Technical specifications of the Topo Athletic Specter 2

The shoe has new profiles in this new version, specifically, 37 mm in the rear and 32 mm in the front, which has increased 2 mm compared to the previous version, while maintaining the 5 mm drop.

Despite having higher profiles and more material in the sole, the weight of this new version will be lower than the previous version, specifically it will weigh 215 grams in men's size 9 US.

The Topo Athletic Specter 2 is already available in the market since July 2024, with the goal of becoming one of the most popular shoes of the brand this season.
