Video Under Armour Infinite Pro

Under Armour are back with a new model: the Under Armour Infinite Pro, a training and competition shoe from the brand that has already triumphed in its more traditional versions in the Under Armour Infinite line, with the intention of leaving a mark on the running shoe market in 2024.

These Under Armour Infinite Pro running shoes integrate some of the best materials and technologies for high-intensity training, and are some of the best value-for-money trainers from Under Armour.

Under Armour Infinite Pro: features and characteristics

The Infinite Pro are Under Armour running shoes that offer a comfortable and reactive tread. We are talking about a model that belongs to the Under Armour Infinite line, characterised by dynamism and great energy return in each step.

They are perfect for intense training and even competitions, with a drop close to 8mm and a total weight of about 358 grams. A combination of features that make them perfect for the most demanding daily running sessions.

The upper features a breathable knitted mesh with Warp technology, and a zoned structure to provide greater support, and has 3D textured print.

It also has lining in the ankle, and a tongue that provides softness, a better fit, and great comfort.

The heel has been designed to help you land softly, reduce impact, and increase overall stability on the track.

The midsole incorporates one of the most outstanding technologies of the brand, the UA HOVR cushioning system: reactive and highly performant. In addition, it has a 3D molded insole that holds the foot securely and provides more comfort.

The sole of the Under Armour Infinite Pro is made of rubber, and is designed to provide durability and resistance.

Under Armour Infinite Pro: Ideal Runner

The Under Armour Infinite Pro is aimed at runners of medium and even heavy weight (over 80 kilos) with a neutral stride. We are talking about a model oriented to this type of training at dynamic rhythms or competitions, for medium distances, which is where the shoes are best.

Under Armour Infinite Pro: technical specifications

In this section we highlight the drop of these running shoes for men and women: 8mm and with a weight of 358 grams in the men's version.

This new model from the American brand is aimed at runners who need a shoe that provides the perfect balance between flexibility and cushioning for training and competitions.

Review of Under Armour Infinite Pro

Under Armour Infinite Pro, maximalist shoe for your daily workouts

After wearing the Under Armour Infinite Pro for several weeks, I can say that these shoes have impressed me. From the first glance, you can tell that Under Armour has taken great care in the design and manufacture of the model. And it is that the American brand launches this shoe as a model for runners of all types of distances, but especially the long ones, looking for a balance between comfort, stability and energy return.

Target runner profile

As a runner looking for a comfortable shoe for any kind of distance, I felt that Infinite Pro fit my needs perfectly. This model is aimed at runners of intermediate weights who are looking for a reliable and comfortable shoe for daily workouts at any distance, but especially for long distances. In addition, their versatile design makes them ideal for runners with neutral footstep, but also for those runners with slight pronation.

What I liked most about the Under Armour Infinite Pro

One of the features I liked the most about the Under Armour Infinite Pro is the upper. The jacquard fabric with 3D printed details offers a snug and secure fit, providing excellent support for the foot without sacrificing comfort. In addition, the vents in the upper have kept my feet cool and dry during every workout I've done with them, which I find especially important on hot days or intense workouts where my foot tends to sweat more.

The midsole of these shoes also deserves a mention. The combination of HOVR technology and EVA foam provides responsive cushioning that effectively absorbs the impact of each stride. This has allowed me to maintain a steady pace during my longer runs without experiencing excessive fatigue in my legs.

The structure of the shoe, composed of multiple TPU inserts, ensures that the foot remains in its natural position, which means that when running you notice a very good stability in each step.

Another highlight is its tongue, with a soft and padded fabric that makes the shoe fit better to the foot and you do not notice that it rubs on the top of the foot, as it sometimes happens with thinner and rougher tongues.

Possible improvements for the Under Armour Infinite Pro

Although the Under Armour Infinite Pro offers great performance, and its weight is not disproportionate, hovering around 305 grams in a size 95 US (43 EU), its perhaps too sturdy compared to other options on the market and what we are used to today.

On the other hand, the comfort and stability focus of the Under Armour Infinite Pro might make it less suitable for intensive training sessions or tempo changes. During the days I've tested them, I've used them in a variety of workouts and I must say that they are not optimal for sudden speed changes. However, they perform perfectly for maintaining a smooth to medium and steady pace.

Final Conclusions about the Under Armour Infinite Pro

In conclusion, the Under Armour Infinite Pro is a running shoe that meets the expectations of any runner looking for a firm model for training. Their innovative design, combined with responsive cushioning and excellent stability, makes them a reliable choice for training and even long-distance races. Although they could benefit from some upgrades, these shoes offer exceptional performance and deliver on their promise of comfort and performance with every step.
