Adidas ' NMD series has positioned itself as one of the brand's favorites when it comes to sneakers in the casual sports line. In the second half of 2016 Adidas launched the Adidas NMD XR1, which have some changes in relation to the previous NMD, but maintain its casual style that adapts to any environment, clothing and situation where we want.

Features of the sneakers

Much of the style of the shoe remains faithful to the NMD line; the most significant change we will see in this edition is the upper design, which includes in the lateral section a plastic support that starts from the midsole and joins directly to the lacing system through three connections.

This support has an open space in the middle, allowing air to pass into the Adidas NMD XR1 in order to keep the foot cool, something important if the shoes are used for a long time.

The upper uses Adidas ' Primeknit technology and is made in a single layer, which eliminates the use of stitching or synthetic additions and provides a smooth surface on contact that also hugs the foot well and remains flexible to movement.

The tongue and collar feature a padded material that adds comfort to the shoe. The tongue and heel collar are slightly more prominent than in other NMD editions and allow the shoe to close like a bootie, and both areas have suede reinforcements that offer a better structure to the shoe.

While these areas of the shoe have a higher fit, the low collar adapts well to the contours of the ankle and allows the shoe to be worn with casual clothing.

Cushioning continues to use Boost as Adidas has done in its main sneakers currently. The bumper on the sides of the shoe also continues in this edition, with the difference that the bumper on the front section of the shoe has been reduced in size to the same level as the midsole.

Overall, the Adidas NMD RX1 remains true to the design of this series with some styling improvements that make it lighter and more casual, without leaving aside the comfort and style of the house.
