Adidas Ultrastar 80s RUN DMC

The 80s are back thanks to the collaboration of Adidas and the RUN DMC group who have brought back one of the classic Adidas sneakers, under the name Adidas Ultrastar 80s. At first glance they look like an undeniable reissue of the Superstar, however, the colorways and materials chosen for this line give them a different and unique feel.

The striking colors of these sneakers will not go unnoticed and make them the perfect complement for a casual outing, especially for those who are not afraid to be the center of attention.

Adidas Ultrastar 80s Design

The upper of the sneakers is made of a soft suede that covers the entire upper with the exception of the toe area which has a white plastic reinforcement that not only contrasts with the rest of the sneaker, but also adds durability to this section.

The range of colors chosen is one of the details that stand out the most, with two options: one shoe in blue with gray details and the other in yellow with green details. The color details are found on the outline of the tongue and on the three distinctive lines of the brand; as if the color contrast were not enough, the material has a snakeskin design.

The Adidas Ultrastar 80s sneakers are presented without laces, matching the original version and leaving the RUN DMC logo on the tongue. However, for those who wish to wear them with laces, three sets of laces are included with the shoes. Two sets are white, one of which is the classic thick laces from the 80's; the third set of laces is black for the blue sneakers and yellow for the blue sneakers.

The Ultrastar 80s have a snug fit, without being restrictive or uncomfortable, but allowing them to be worn without the laces and not come off the foot easily.

The Ultrastar line also has other more sober colorways that also adapt perfectly to the casual style of this edition of Adidas, but undoubtedly the RUN DMC are the ones that stand out the most in this collection.
