Nike Air Force 1 High 07

Created in 1982, the Nike Air Force One shoe is named after the plane that transports the President of the United States, as an allusion to the technologies that were used to manufacture it; this was the first Nike basketball shoe to incorporate Nike Air technology, revolutionizing what was known at the time in terms of cushioning and protection.

At the time, this technology came to change the game landscape for sports greats like Charles Barkley and Moses Malone; this led to the shoe quickly becoming popular around the world. Its popularity spread beyond the basketball court as hip-hop artists and other urban genres began to use these shoes.

Today this basketball shoe stays true to its original in comfort features, softness and that dense midsole that provides excellent cushioning. The Nike Air Force 1 High 07, is an edition in which we have also wanted to provide the shoe with an elegant and casual look, with the incorporation of the style offered by the leather.

Shoe design

The upper of this shoe is made of leather with a matte finish. The "High" designation in the shoe's name refers to the shoe's high, bootie-like fit; in order for the shoe to better fit the ankle area, it has a band that comes off the heel section and adjusts at the front of the shoe so that the foot is "locked in" but without limiting movement.

In the toe section the leather has perforations that allow air to flow into the shoe to keep the foot cool. The shoe's high collar and tongue feature a padded material that keeps the ankle area comfortable.

The midsole features a full-length PU layer in combination with the Air-Sole unit for superior cushioning and efficient energy return during toe-off.

The pattern of the outsoles also allows for energy distribution and ease of stride. In addition to this, the highly durable rubber offers resistance to wear and tear.

The Nike Air Force 1 High 07 has a clean, lightweight and comfortable finish that has made it famous since its first release a few decades ago and keeps it as one of the favorites in basketball.
