Nike Air Max 180

As part of the launch ahead of the upcoming Nike Air Max Day. The classic Nike Air180 silhouette has been launched in its original colorway, the combination known as Ultramarine. The same combination with which the Nike Air 180 appeared for the first time in 1991. From this same model has been taken inspiration to create the new Nike Air Max 270 of which we have already spoken HERE.

It's been 17 years since the vibrant Air 180 debuted on the streets, a new lightweight running shoe that helped continue Nike s streak of innovation at the time. However, the use of Air Max technology took a different direction than the Air Max 87 and 90 before it. In these Nike Air 180s, it was given an aesthetic twist in which the air chamber was fully exposed to the outside. At the time, this was a novelty, but nowadays this technology has been extended along the entire sole. Hence the creation of the NikeAir Vapormax model that has been so successful in the history of the American brand. And hence the name that first received these Sneakers, due to technological advances in Nike cushioning.
