Nike Air Max 270 Futura, this is the third silhouette with 32mm Air heel that the American firm launches in 2018. With a clear intention to connect the past with the future, in the upper we find an upper with a distinctive touch typical of the decade of the 90s with a basketball shoe style, at first glance the upper seems to be higher than the Nike Air Max 270. It really is a clear inspiration from a Nike archive silhouette, the Triux 96 which has been given a more modern touch with the incorporation of the Air unit in the heel.

Construction of the Nike Air Max 270 Futura

A combination of mesh, suede and leather have been used in the construction of these sneakers, classic materials to make reference to what we mentioned before, the clear intention of going back to the past. To this has been added some retro details such as the Nike Swoosh that happens to have a more rounded shape compared to the last logos seen in the 2018 Sneakers. On the heel we also find the detail of a small plate with the Air engraving and the Nike logo. As with the other 270 models, rounded laces have been used, and this time it features an even more vintage aesthetic.
