On the morning of the start of the new 2017/2018 NBA season, LeBron James also took time to release his 15th shoe with the Nike brand, the Nike LeBron 15 sneakers.

According to Jason Petrie, Nike designer who has worked with the basketball superstar for over a decade, they have always aimed for the overall style of the LeBron sneakers to be aggressive, sleek, modern and classic. The LeBron 15 celebrates LeBron James ' 15th year in the NBA and looks to push the boundaries of design, technology and style that have been seen in a basketball shoe.

UPPER

Released on October 17 in a colorway dubbed "Ghost," these Nike LeBron 15s feature a chain-weave upper that has been constructed with Nikes new BattleKnit technology.

LeBron needed something beyond what the sneakers released to date had provided, to develop the shoe according to Lebron's requirements, Petrie and his team realized they had to manufacture the material in a completely different way, this move resulted in a range of new possibilities.

The BattleKnit technology was created specifically for LeBron James. The Nike LeBron 15 is stronger and more durable and if you look at the upper fabric in detail it looks like "dragon scales".

The wayde colorway of the LeBron 15 (the sneaker simply sports a light tan hue) pays homage to LeBron's unwavering drive to pursue the greatness of those who came before him. Vachetta leather accents have been added on the tongue, heel and tabs for a subtle touch of luxury.

MIDSOLE AND OUTSOLE

On the bottom, we have a speckled midsole featuring a new BattleMax cushioning configuration, which combines Max Air and Zoom Air units to give you protection, responsiveness and flexibility. An icy blue translucent outsole wraps things up.

The LeBron 15 's flexibility was influenced by the Nike Air VaporMax, while its ability to support basketball's best player was taken from LeBron's previous rugged models.

The LeBron 15 will undoubtedly be a shoe that will make history, a few days after its release on November 3, 2017, LeBron James put on this model and made a magnificent demonstration of his talent and athletic ability, scoring 57 points, the second best mark in his entire career, in addition to this he made 11 rebounds and 7 assists to lead his team to victoria.
