Puma Basket Classic

One of Pumas greatest icons, present in its catalog since 1971, the Puma Basket Classic sneakers combine a sober design with the greatest comfort, features that have earned its preference among users for decades. These sneakers emerged as a reissue of the Clyde, using leather for the construction of the upper, thus Puma achieved a casual-sporty style sneaker that has kept them in the hall of fame of the firm.

Upper features

For this edition, the base of the original Suede sneakers has been taken, while maintaining the Basket design, with the incorporation of leather for the upper construction. The glossy leather finish allows these shoes to offer an urban touch that we can combine with many of our outfits.

The low-cut collar features a padded material that offers comfort to the ankles, while the padded tongue also allows for a smooth and secure fit of the laces. The lacing system uses flat laces which complement the classic style of these sneakers.

In the upper of the Puma Basket Classic, some small perforations have been added to allow more air to pass through, keeping the feet cool at all times.

The midsole uses a layer of rubber that helps provide a soft and comfortable surface for the feet. The density of the material keeps the weight of the shoe fairly light without sacrificing the protection your feet need.

The outsole is made of rubber with very good wear resistance. The mid-height platform contributes to the cushioning of the shoe and at the same time offers that retro and classic style that characterizes this edition of Puma. Despite the height of the platform the shoes are not sturdy or heavy.

The fit of the Puma Basket Classic stays true to size, fitting comfortably for those with medium width feet, although it also offers good room for wide feet.
