The Puma Flare 2 shoe arrives with some nice updates over the previous edition; keeping its lightweight and slim look, the Flare 2 now incorporates a higher midsole with a new rubber that significantly improves cushioning and comfort. Thanks to its stretch mesh design, a more adaptive fit, increased breathability and a more modern look is achieved.
The upper of the shoe has been revamped and is now crafted from double-layer mesh to give a deeper look to the shoe's design but also to ensure greater ventilation and durability.
The upper design is mainly seamless and in one piece; in the lateral areas, layers have been added with the classic Puma design, which help to improve the fit of the shoe in the midfoot area and provide greater security in lateral movements.
Inside the Puma Flare 2 we find a soft rubber insole which provides a comfortable feel and helps with cushioning for the soles of our feet.
Another new addition that Puma has made to these shoes is the use of SPRK rubber in the midsole. This rubber allows for better cushioning which adapts to the different types of pressure we exert on the midsole platform while exercising. In this way, the shoes provide comfort for a wide variety of sports activities, such as running, jogging or for wearing them to the gym, even for all-day use.
The soles are made of carbon rubber, which allows for better traction and excellent durability. The pattern of the sole changes from the heel to the forefoot to offer traction and flexibility according to the areas where it is needed.
A transition line has been added in the center of the outsole which mimics the natural pattern of foot movement during stride, allowing for a smoother ride; this feature is ideal when using the shoe for running, as it offers a more fluid and efficient stride.
With the improvements that the firm has placed in the Puma Flare 2 we now find ourselves with more versatile and comfortable shoes that will allow us to move with total security.
