Vans continues to stand out in the sneakers segment in which sustainability has been the main focus when creating and manufacturing this new model.

The upper is knitted and made from 50% organic cotton and 50% hemp to give these avant-garde shoes a natural and classic touch, in true Vans style, and to reduce the excess waste resulting from the shoe manufacturing process.

In addition, the upper of the shoe is stitched directly to the sole to help reduce the amount of glue used in manufacturing. All linings and laces are made from organic cotton, hemp and natural jute fibers.

The Vans Circle Vee features a VR3CUSH footbed that is made from bio-based, partially plant-based PU foam (Fates), according to ASTM D6866-16 reference standard. This insole provides optimal comfort and support throughout the day, thanks to the molded heel and arch model.

The shoe features an Ecowaffle rubber outsole that stands out for the presence of more than 60 of the rubber used that is natural, sourced from regenerative agriculture and obtained from farms that employ practices designed to promote biodiversity, improve water cycles and soil health, and sequester carbon dioxide.

In addition, this natural rubber compound was developed and designed to maintain the grip and durability that has characterized Vans soles since 1966.

Sustainability is the cornerstone of the new Vans Circle Vee where every detail counts in the creation of the shoe, from a one-piece natural knit upper to VR3Cush biofoam midsole inserts for all-day comfort, and integral VR3Waffle rubber outsoles, also reducing the use of glue throughout the manufacturing process.

The VR3 Checkerboard Globe logo is visible on the shoe, signifying that at least 30% of the product manufactured by the brand must be composed of one or more recycled, renewable or regenerative materials.

The Vans Circle Vee, besides betting on sustainability and quality of the shoe has a combination of gray and black colors that provide an extra elegance to use in our daily routines and our more formal outfit.
