Now available the new Veja Minotaur, a high topshoes that we can wear during our daily routines.

The Veja Minotaur is shoe sneaker that has been manufactured in Brazil and with natural materials duly certified to provide that extra quality to the model.

Outstanding features of the Veja Minotaur

Veja is one of the most popular brands among the younger public thanks to its modern design and its firm commitment to the use of recycled and naturally sourced materials.

The upper is made of a suede made from the lower part of the cowhide previously brushed to make it softer and more flexible.

The leather used in this shoe comes from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul) and is tanned directly in the country in compliance with REACH standards.

Throughout the tanning process, special attention is paid to the use of water in order to minimize the loss and good use of water.

The suede is coated with PFC-free water-repellent oils (chemical compounds) to protect the shoes from light rain, it is not a waterproof membrane but it does protect our feet from sporadic and light rain.

The recycled and organic material is also present in other parts of the shoe, for example, the laces are made entirely with organic cotton or the lining with 100% recycled polyester.

The brand's characteristic motifs, which are present on the sides and other areas of the shoe, stand out and are made from Amazon rubber (26%) and rice waste (22%).

The shoe has an insole that provides extra cushioning and comfort throughout the day. This insole is made with Amazon rubber (11%), sugar cane (42%), recycled E.V.A.* (11%) and organic cotton (12%).

The sole is designed to provide maximum grip on smooth surfaces. Rubber is the predominant material, a rubber that comes from the Amazon (31%), although other sustainable materials such as rice waste (22%) and recycled rubber (12%) also stand out.

It is a shoe that will delight the youngest girls to wear during their daily routines, whether on more informal occasions with friends or more formal ones at work.

The quality of the model, the design and the complexity of the entire production process make it not one of the lifestyle shoes with a more affordable price, but rather the opposite (160 €).

In short, this is one of the brand's most outstanding high-top shoes, featuring warm color combinations and a firm commitment to natural and sustainable materials.
