We no longer have an excuse to go out and enjoy nature with the new Bestard Zambia, walking boots that provide a high level of protection even in the most adverse environments of rain and cold.
The Bestard Zambia are walking boots that have a robust design, like the walking boots of yesteryear, but with some of the most outstanding materials and technologies developed by the brand to provide maximum protection to our feet, even in the most hostile high mountain environments.
Bestard is one of the leading Spanish outdoor footwear brands, always standing out for the quality of its shoes and/or boots thanks to the tradition of the craftsmen who founded the company in Mallorca in 1940. The Bestard Zambia is a boot that embodies the brand's values of maximum quality and protection of its products.
The upper part of the boot is made of Nobuk leather, which provides great resistance to abrasion, with hardly any seams and reinforced with a 360º rubber bandoleer.
The boot has a waterproof Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane that protects our feet from the cold, humidity and rain, keeping them dry and protected at all times, while ensuring good breathability.
Despite its high level of robustness and protection, together with a classic design that reminds us of the first models of the brand, the Bestard Zambia is a surprisingly light and comfortable boot from the first step.
The boot has a very high shaft, but the wide lacing system allows us to put on and take off the boot in an easy and simple way that, once adjusted according to our preferences, will protect our feet throughout the journey.
The midsole of the boot has an EVA foam that provides good cushioning and softness to walk comfortably in the mountains, from the easiest trails to high mountain terrain with stones and greater difficulties.
Thanks to its Vibram Mottarone sole with Arctic Grip technology, it guarantees a great grip, even on wet ice. It is a sole that is especially recommended for use in areas with slippery snow and ice surfaces, such as the highest mountain peaks that can harbor permanent snow all year round.
This is an all-terrainwalking boot, although we recommend its use by athletes who need protection on their most demanding mountain routes, since for routes or excursions on simpler terrain or without great technical difficulties it may be too heavy a boot.
Athletes of medium weight, even high (over 75 kilos) can adapt perfectly to the characteristics of this model that has a high weight, located in the 1,520 grams (size 8 UK).
It is a comfortable walking boot, so we can use it on long days of trekking and mountain routes, but if the terrain is excessively technical or complicated, comfort can go down as the day progresses.
The Bestard Zambia is a boot that stands out for its robustness and provides a high level of protection to our feet, even in very adverse environments, making it ideal for those tougher days in the mountains.
