Main features of the Scarpa R-Evolution GTX

The Italian brand Scarpa, continues to grow and stand out more and more among athletes who like outdoor sports activities, whether running in the mountains or trekking, which is the target audience for this new walking boot.

The upper of the boot is made with a waterproof suede and has the Fit DV construction system, a system that provides a very precise fit of the foot inside the boot, with a comfort and sensations very similar to those we would have if we put on a trailrunning shoes or much lighter than this walking boot.

The boot features the new Speed Lacing system, a system that uses a small bi-component piece of lightweight steel and plastic, so that the support that extends to the toe is divide into two sections.

The Scarpa R-Evolution GTX has a front part in which we find 3D TPU protections to protect us from the external elements in those more technical and steep surfaces. The heel strap provides the necessary stability to efficiently support the heel.

The upper has a lace closure that divide the tension zones and hooks to progressively wrap the ankle securely. The lower part has eyelets that allow the laces to pass smoothly and adjust our foot inside the shoe with a single movement.

Finally, the boot has a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane to provide maximum protection against the elements and keep our feet dry at all times.

The brand has developed Activ Impact technology that has the ability to reduce foot fatigue during exercise through a sole construction that absorbs impacts with the surface and increases shock absorption characteristics for a perfectly dynamic stride.

The high-top walking boot has a weight of 665 grams in size 42 EU, a weight in line with the materials of the boot and similar to other similar boots on the market today.

The boot is available up to size 50 EU and is intended for those summer excursions in the mountains where we need a boot that transmits security and grip regardless of the type of terrain and also, by incorporating the Gore-Tex membrane, we are assured to keep our feet dry despite rain or mud.
