Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex

We present the Gore-Tex version of the Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex, a new hiking shoe, with a version for men and women, which has the same features as the Outrise but with the protection of the Gore-Tex membrane for those rainy days during our libre routes.

The Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex are a versatile and comfortable hiking shoes, adding the protection of the Gore-Tex membrane, and that will allow us to get the most out during our libre sports activities, yes, provided they are not overly technical or complicated terrain.

Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex, main features

The Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex ore-Tex is one of the Salomon hiking shoes with a light weight and sporty model to accommodate perfectly to different uses, whether in the mountains or on trails near the city.

The big difference of the Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex with respect to the Salomon Outrise is found in the Gore-Tex membrane that is present in this version of the shoe and that protects our feet from the rainiest days in the mountains, keeping them dry at all times.

Another important aspect when trekking in the mountains in rainy and/or muddy conditions is the outsole. The sole of the Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex also has the All Terrain Contagrip system, which offers durability, more than necessary for use in the mountains, but also the confidence to go through wet or slippery surfaces.

The SensiFit system in the Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex wraps the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, comfortable and virtually customizable fit around the entire system. The lacing system consists of traditional laces.

The inner lining of the shoe is synthetic with a cover based on the innovative S.Café technology, this inner lining cover is made from coffee grounds, which are excellent for moisture management and odor control.

The midsole of the Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex is made of the innovative Fuze Foam compound developed by Salomon, which is one of the softest EVA compounds and designed with fewer artificial polymers.

Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex, technical specifications

In the chapter on technical specifications, the outsole of the Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex has multidirectional traction lugs, although it is a shoe suitable for not very technical mountain terrain.

The Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex has a 9mm drop (a drop suitable for long distance hiking in the mountains) with a higher profile than the Salomon Outrise, specifically 27mm in the heel and 18mm in the front of the shoe.

The Salomon Outrise Gore-Tex has a weight of 303 grams in the men's version and 260 grams in the women's version, making it an ideal hiking shoe for adventurers of medium/heavy weight who increase their weight slightly due to the presence of the water proof membrane and these higher profiles.

In short, we find ourselves with a versatile shoe to use in our mountain excursions in the days with worse weather conditions and provided they are not very technical terrain and, thanks to its design, we can also use occasionally in our daily use.
