Year 2015

Maximum cushioning and a low drop. This is the new Asics 33-M, a maximalist shoe (hence the nomenclature M) for runners with a neutral stride and weighing over 75 kilograms who want plenty of cushioning for running long distances at intermediate or slow paces. A shoe weighing 309 grams in the men's version and 252 in the women's model, along with a 4mmdrop, capable of offering a more natural experience in your training sessions that rivals the Hoka One One Conquest.

Asics has built a shoe with enormous flexibility that is reflected in the shoe's name by the 33, which refers to the number of joints in the foot. Thanks to its 4 mm drop, this shoe provides a much more natural running experience compared to more traditional models such as the Nimbus or Kayano, whose drop rises to 12 mm.

Amplifoam midsole

The Japanese firm has developed a new midsole called Amplifoam, used in the three models of the Natural 33 collection. This new compound provides a more comfortable underfoot feel and durability, as this material does not break down at the same rate as other foams of similar density.

Seamless upper

The upper of the shoe fuses a mesh upper in the forefoot and midfoot area with a series of synthetic panels and TPU reinforcements. In addition, the upper is heat-sealed and seamless to minimize friction and rubbing.

AHAR+ outsole

As for the outsole, it is made with a blown air rubber compound, called AHAR+, to provide you with optimal cushioning and durability while at the same time easing your stride during the run.

Visibility

The Japanese brand has taken runners' safety into account when designing this shoe. To this end, it has included a series of reflective parts, manufactured by the company 3M, so that you can stay visible when light conditions are poor.
