Photos ASICS Gel Cumulus 25 TR
1 / 4The new ASICS Gel Cumulus 25 TR is the "door to trail" model of one of the most popular shoes of the brand that, with this model, gains in versatility since we can use it both on asphalt and mountain trails.
The ASICS Gel-Cumulus 25 TR is a trail shoe in which the midsole has been updated with the brand's new PureGEL technologies and FF BLAST PLUS cushioning.
Main features of the ASICS Gel Cumulus 25 TR
ASICS, like other major brands in the market, continues to focus on launching models of running shoes already consolidated and very popular but adapted to run on trails and forest tracks with few technical difficulties.
The shoe has the same technologies and materials as the ASICS Gel Cumulus 25 but adapted for running on easy mountain terrain, with greater protection and a new outsole with a greater predominance of lugs.
The upper is made of jacquard mesh which helps us to improve breathability and comfort, also it is important to note that at least 75% of the main material of this upper is made from recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
The shoe has light protections, necessary when running on trails or forest tracks, and also highlight the presence of reflective details, designed to improve our visibility in low light conditions.
The midsole features the brand's new PureGEL and FF BLAST PLUS cushioning technologies that provide good shock absorption and responsive rebound during our strides and also great cushioning and comfort that characterize the brand's training shoes.
The shoe has an OrthoLite X insole that provides extra comfort during our runs. The insole is made using a solution dyeing process, which reduces water consumption by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to conventional dyeing technology.
The outsole of the shoe is one of the different aspects with respect to its sister shoe, anyway it has the AHAR rubber compound developed by the brand and that guarantees us a great durability, but with a specific design and pattern of lugs for trail running although without a great prominence.
Ideal type of runner for the ASICS Gel Cumulus 25 TR
It is a very versatile daily training shoe, so it can be adapted to a very wide profile of runners, those who like to combine asphalt with forest trails have in this shoe one of their great options.
Runners of medium weight, even high, with neutral stride technique will be able to extract the maximum, also in this new version gain in reactivity with what those who like to run fast (race paces around 4:30 min / km), will be able to use it without problems.
In short, we have in the ASICS Gel Cumulus 25 TR a shoe to use both on asphalt and in the mountains (easy terrain) and which has a wide availability of new colors inspired by the forest as it is part of the Nature Bathing collection of the brand.
