ASICS GEL DS Trainer 22

Included in the FlyteFoam Fast Series, the new ASICS Gel DS Trainer 22 are accompanied by the colorful Noosa FF and DynaFlyte, in a new color version. ASICS Running has set itself the goal of meeting the demands of all runner profiles, regardless of their running technique and footprint type. The common denominator of these three models is that they incorporate the Japanese brand's exclusive latest-generation technology: theFlyteFoam compound throughout the midsole.

More reactive cushioning

In the specific case of the ASICS Gel DS Trainer 22, for the first time in its long history, it includes a full-length FlyteFoam midsole. This means that the Gel DS Trainer 22 ensures more responsive cushioning, capable of adapting to the pace of each runner's stride, contributing to a more efficient run, regardless of the distance to be covered.

In addition, the ASICS Gel DS Trainer 22 remains one of the reference models for runners with moderate pronation, thanks to the Dynamic Duomax system, dual density in the midsole. So the shoe provides medium-high stability, while adding extra comfort.

The dynamic response of the 22nd edition of the ASICS Gel DS Trainer is also helped by the Propulsion Trusstic System plastic insert in the midfoot area and the heel counter, whose base comes from the legendary Gel Kayano 23 This improves the support of the model, but also adds rigidity to the whole.

A friendlier feel and a longer lifespan for the model

The upper of the ASICS Gel DS Trainer 22 does not incorporate significant new features compared to its predecessor the Gel DS Trainer 21. In this section, the designers of the Japanese brand have sought a better arrangement of the thermo-sealed breathable mesh to increase the performance of the fit. On the other hand, ComforDry technology also appears both in the insole and in the collar area, which offers a friendlier feel, and also prolongs the life of the shoe.

Also present in the outsole of the ASICS Gel DS Trainer 22 is the effective combination of DuoSole compounds, which provides flexibility and lightness; and the durable AHAR, which is present in the high-wear areas of the shoe, helping to increase the shoe's durability.

The ASICS Gel DS Trainer 22 has a 10-millimeterdrop and weighs about 225 grams. The DS Trainer is also available in an NC version for neutral runners, without the dual-density midsole compound. It is the option for pronator runners, who are looking for great lightness, good cushioning and a comfortable fit for quality training and series, but also as a long distance racing shoe, including the mythical marathon distance.
