A new version of one of the trail veterans has arrived. The Asics Gel Fuji Trabuco 3 maintains the essence of what it has always been, comfortable, cushioned, with good performance, compliant in almost all terrains. I've incorporated new features that take it up a notch.

Asics has incorporated for this iconic model the Twist Gel technology that improves propulsion at take-off. This new compound is specifically placed under the first metatarsal which helps the toe-off and thus improves the efficiency of the entire stride and running cycle.
The classic GEL is still in the heel area but has been moved to the sides to help with the landing and make the impact more controlled and cushioned.
The drop of the shoe is 10 mm and in the midsole we find again the Solyte compound with a high cushioning capacity, efficient response and durability.
It is a model mainly for pronator runners. As usual in the brand, it incorporates DuoMax dual density under the arch to prevent overpronation and in the forefoot a plate that will prevent us from hurting ourselves with sharp protrusions.
The outsole continues with its 3 flex grooves and the lugs have been placed specifically to favor ascents and descents. In other words, lugs in 2 directions on the outside of the outsole and smaller ones in the middle to improve traction.
The upper has also evolved. It is now much lighter, with almost no straps or distortions, which may imply a loss of protection but a gain in breathability and lightness.
The tongue of the Trabuco 2 has been replaced by the Mono-Sock system, a kind of tongue that wraps around the foot to achieve a better fit and prevent it from moving.
