ASICS continues to bet on one of its most iconic models and, in addition, as in the case of this version, it also has a wider last, ideal for all those athletes with wider feet or with the need for extra insoles to run comfortably and avoid possible injuries.

This version has the same features and materials as the ASICS Gel Kayano 31, a shoe that incorporates interesting improvements over the previous version.

The upper is made with a technical mesh and more elastic than the ASICS Gel Kayano 30 which improves breathability, obtaining a higher level of ventilation and flexibility while running with the shoe.

It is worth mentioning the presence of a puller, which we have already seen in other new models such as the ASICS Gel Nimbus 26, on the back of the heel, which helps us to put the shoe on and take it off more easily and quickly.

The midsole features some of the most outstanding technologies developed by the brand, on the one hand it continues to bet on the presence of the4D Guidance System. This innovative biomechanical guidance system uses several design elements strategically placed to accompany and optimize the natural movement of the foot throughout the stride cycle.

Also present in this version, the new PureGel technology in the heel area to help reduce the impact with the surface and the Flyte Foam BLAST PLUS ECO cushioning, which highlights the commitment to recycled materials but still gives us the necessary reactivity and dynamism to run fast in each of our strides.

The outsole incorporates the new HYBRID ASICSGRIP rubber that improves traction, our stability and extends durability thanks to a high resistance to abrasion.

As regards the technical specifications of these ASICS Gel Kayano 31 Wide, they have the same data as its sister shoe, which incorporates a highdrop located at 10 millimeters with profiles of 40 mm. in the heel and 30mm in the front.

The men's version weighs 305 grams and the women's version weighs 260 grams, so runners of average weight who need extra stability and support can take full advantage of the features of this shoe.
