What's new in the revamped ASICS METASPEED Edge +?

The first thing to note about the improvements implemented in the ASICS super shoes with a carbon plate is that they are very similar in looks. The first thing that is striking is that ASICS has opted for Plus (+), taking into account the improvements introduced and its remarkable evolution we could really talk about the ASICS METASPEED Sky + and ASICS METASPEED Edge +.

Moving on to the new features, just as with the ASICS METASPEED Sky +, this new installment of the ASICS METASPEED Edge keeps the same construction of its midsole with the FlyteFoam Blast Turbo, but with a small nuance: there is now up to 14% more FlyteFoma Blast Turbo than in the first version of the ASICS METASPEED Edge.

The rationale behind this change is that the ASICS Institute of Sports Science (ISS) has been gathering feedback from elite athletes with the idea of perfecting this racing shoe. In this way they have tried to solve the demand for a greater degree of comfort over long distances.

Another important detail of these ASICS METASPEED Edge + is focused on the inclusion of the carbon plate, which has been adjusted more and better in a lower area of the midsole, so as to get more out of the energy return.

ASICS METASPEED Edge +: Technical Specifications

More interesting changes in these ASICS METASPEED Edge + are seen in the redesigned upper with a new, lighter and more breathable Motion Wrap technical mesh. In addition, this type of fabric adds more structure at strategic points.

Regarding the technical specifications, these ASICS METASPEED Edge + have a drop of 8mm with an approximate weight of 210 grams.
