The Mizuno Be are not exactly Running shoes, or so says the Japanese brand. Rather, they are a complement for runners to perform technical exercises, do short runs or use them in the gym. However, they are quite close to the concept of natural or minimalist running, but without being so, as they have a 6 mm drop, which distances them from the purely natural concept. It also incorporates a layer of EVA foam in the sole which provides some cushioning. It is a very flexible and light shoe since it barely weighs 160 grams. Among its cons the upper is not very breathable and the outsole does not offer much grip or durability so its use is more suitable for indoor use.
