This is a stronger, lighter and more environmentally friendly material. This Pbax RNew reinforces the feeling that the Wave Catalyst is a very well cushioned model, ideal for medium weight runners.

The other great solution provided by the Mizuno Wave Catalyst is its construction, based on the Soft First Touch system, which incorporates several notches on the lateral part of the heel, and these contribute to soften the impact of the foot on the ground.

In addition, in the forefoot area of the outsole, the Catalyst also brings with it flexion cuts that offer that extra stability for runners with mild pronation.

All in all, the Mizuno Wave Catalyst is designed for runners with neutral footprint and slight pronation, weighing no more than 80 kilos, and covering a kilometer in over 4 minutes.
