Welcome to the concept of the flying shoe for trail running competition. There are surely other models from brands such as Salomon, Brooks, The North Face and even La Sportiva but the Wave Harrier 3 is a great option if your characteristics match those of this shoe and you don't want to spend too much money. First of all it is indicated for neutral runners although it has enough support to face the last kilometers in which we can begin to pronate due to fatigue. Ideal for runners between 65 and 75 kg. It is very light, just 295 grams. And the distances to be covered should not exceed 20 km approximately. As we have said, they are for racing. Do not use them for training as they have very little cushioning with a fairly low profile, which will allow you to "fly with them". One of its main qualities is its outsole that offers very good traction both in dry and wet conditions and even in snow. It is not the ideal shoe for overly technical terrain but will be very good for less rough or even muddy terrain such as crosses.
