Mizuno continues to keep up with its competitors with each release of its running shoes and shows us that it is a company capable of improving itself while continuing to surprise us with striking designs and technical features designed to optimize the performance of athletes.
This time, Mizuno presents its Mizuno Wave 3 Kien GTX shoes, an ideal shoe for trail running but that we can wear without problem in almost any sport. They are an improved version of the Mizuno Wave 3 Kien, with technologies that mainly provide greater comfort, maximum breathability and multidirectional grip.
The technologies that Mizuno has placed in these shoes we can notice them from its midsole, which is characterized by a lighter type of EL8 foam, with 10% less density compared to traditional EVA foam, the upper of the shoe is made with GORETEX fabric, waterproof, which you can use with any weather condition.
Being a lightweight shoe300 gr.) and with a 12 millimeters drop, it is definitely a shoe suitable for city-mountain thanks also to its good level of cushioning.
A comfortable and ventilated shoe can make all the difference when it comes to athlete performance. That is why the company Mizuno has improved the upper of its Mizuno Wave 3 Kien GTX shoe with AirMesh technology.
The design of these shoes is composed of a more open mesh construction, which allows moisture from the foot to flow to the outside and divide it over a larger surface area for additional breathability, this also makes it more flexible and adjustable to the foot, improving the activity of the runner or athlete.
This wave-shaped midsole design helps to reduce the foot's impact with the ground and provides a comfortable feel. This technology was created with a unique shape and a clear objective, which is to disperse the force of the foot strike against the ground, for greater cushioning and comfort.
Mizuno has improved its rubber and carbon compound used in the outsoles, now offering greater resistance to running shoes in high-impact areas while allowing greater traction in the heel area.

As mentioned earlier, this foam cushioning component is now up to 10% lighter than previous versions of Mizuno running shoes, allowing for a lighter composition shoe that makes it easier for the athlete to maintain a smoother stride during the run.
The new Mizuno Wave 3 Kien GTX have strengthened their external presentation. In addition to the AirMesh, they have included a waterproof and breathable fabric lining that makes the shoes much more adaptable to any type of terrain and weather.
This combination of technologies, along with Mizunos signature Dynamotion Fit, creates a strong yet comfortable support, with improved adhesion between the foot and the shoe, eliminating any stress points that may interfere with the athlete's performance.
