One of the big changes of the Wave Knit R1, compared to previous models, is its renewed and new upper. Made with a knit upper, we find a sock-like design whose main feature is its elasticity. The great advantages of this fabric are its breathability and the great fit it offers. It also reduces the weight of the shoe. The knitted fabric has been the big bet of the Japanese brand that has been incorporated in only two models, the second we see in the Wave Knit S1. The sole, built with carbon rubber, provides better traction. We will also notice increased cushioning and responsiveness thanks to the blown rubber in the forefoot. Finally, in terms of technical specifications, it is a model with a 12mmdrop. The weight has been reduced in relation to previous versions, thanks to the new fabric of which the sports is composed, now are 255gr in the women's model and 295gr in the man.
