The Mizuno Wave Knit R1 are the new Running shoes from the Japanese company with a new and totally renewed upper. In this case, cushioning and stability are the main features of these sneakers. They have been designed for a medium-weight runner with a neutral stride for both long and short distances, including repetitions. Thanks to the changes made by Mizuno, the durability and lightness of this shoe has been increased, and it is one of the two models that have been made with knitted material.

This model has been designed for a runner of average weight who wants to reach any kind of distance.
One of the big changes of the Wave Knit R1, compared to previous models, is its renewed and new upper. Made with a knit upper, we find a sock-like design whose main feature is its elasticity. The great advantages of this fabric are its breathability and the great fit it offers. It also reduces the weight of the shoe. The knitted fabric has been the big bet of the Japanese brand that has been incorporated in only two models, the second we see in the Wave Knit S1.
