The Mizuno Wave Mujin 3 GTX trail running shoes are an adaptation of the Mizuno Wave Mujin 3 but in this case with Goretex. They are shoes oriented to improve the athlete's performance in different terrain conditions; they offer a good combination of protection, grip and stability that allow them to be used in training and races with uneven terrain, trails, rocky or mountain.
These shoes have a good integration of features from the upper to the outsole, making them a perfect choice for technical races and long distances where excellent support, stability and cushioning are needed, protecting the athlete's foot from possible injuries.
Tire manufacturer Michelin has teamed up with Mizuno to create soles that are resistant and have outstanding grip on technical terrain. The soles have a design very similar to that of MTB tires with lugs whose torsion facilitates grip on uneven terrain and avoids the accumulation of materials in the sole that can diminish traction.
Also added to this technology is Mizuno s X-10 outsole, which is a highly impact-resistant rubber that adds durability to the shoe. The outsole design also features grooves and grips that improve traction. All this integration of technologies in the outsole of the Mizuno Wave Mujin 3 G-TX provides resistance, traction, durability and flexibility in all types of terrain.
The midsole of these shoes offers optimized cushioning and a softer feel during the step, this has been achieved thanks to the integration of U4ICX and Mizuno Wave technologies that allow to disperse the energy of the impact on the ground and adapt to the pressure exerted by the athlete's foot when touching the ground. The shoes have a 12 mm drop, ideal for those looking for good cushioning.
The internal insole also adds to the shoe's cushioning system and is also removable so that an orthopedic insole can be adapted to the shoe to improve its adaptation to the athlete's foot.
The upper features Dynamotion Fit technology that extends from the heel to the midfoot and allows the foot to move naturally in different conditions as if it were a second skin. The lines of synthetic material that are part of the lateral design also allow the shoe to remain firm and offer an adequate fit to the foot, without the shoe feeling too tight.
The entire upper of the Mizuno Wave Mujin 3 G-TX shoe features AirMesh that not only offers excellent ventilation and prevents the foot from overheating, but also allows for a good degree of waterproofing.
It is evident that Mizuno has thought of all the details in the design of these shoes and although its price is not the lowest in this category, its construction suitable for different types of terrain provides versatility and makes them a good investment for athletes who like more technical experiences.
